Open invitation to tender, deadline 12/10/2020, for the design and construction of the quadrupling of the current Fortezza-Verona railway, section Fortezza-Ponte Gardena (Lot 1). The new 25 km from the Fortezza interconnection to the Ponte Gardena station, will include the two bi-tube tunnels Scaleres (15.4 km) and Gardena (6.3 km), joined by a viaduct over the Eisack River. Value of the contract will be EUR1.17 billion, excluding VAT, of which EUR 858.47 million, excluding VAT, belonging to OG4 category.
