SIS is a company controlled by Sacyr Vallehermoso (60%) and Italian contractors Inc general contractor SpA and Sipal (40%). The 6,167 m road project is located in a mountainous area and includes two tunnels (1,750 m and 1,246 m). From Turin, this road climbs along the Alps, passing from 1,400 to 1,800 m, and connects with France. The project is part of the 2006 Winter Olimpics infrastructure programme.
