Invitation to prequalify, deadline 22.08.2012, for tender 053-2011 design-build of 8 km-long, twin-tube, 6.5 m-diameter TBM section of Red Line from Geha Junction, along Jabotinski St in Bnei Brak and Ramat Gan and Menachem Begin Road in Tel Aviv to Elifellet station at the old Turkish rail lines. Contract includes eight station boxes, box for track crossover at Ben Gurion station, and crosspassages. Three shafts are in place at Geha Junction in Bnei Brak, Hertzel St, and Galei Gil.
