The Heavy Civil Infrastructure business of L&T Construction has secured the order from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) for construction of tunnels, bridges and formation works from km 18+444 to km 33+097 (Package 2) in connection with new single Broad Gauge (BG) Rail line between Rishikesh and Karanprayag (125 km) in State of Uttarakhand, India. The contract includes the construction by NATM method of tunnels n.2 (6460 m) and n.3 (6720 m). The value of the order is between Rs 1,000-Rs 2,500 crore.
