Attiko Metro has announced that three bidders were shortlisted for 12.8km Alsos Veikou to Goudi section on the Athens metro Line 4: TVS (Tepna AE – Vinci – Siemens AG); J+P Avax Ae – Ghella SpA – Alstom Transport SA; Aktor Ate– Ansaldo STP SpA – Hitachi Rail Italy SpA.
The candidate contractors are invited to submit their technical and financial offers by 10.12.2018.
The project’s budget has risen to EUR1.51 bn and its construction is estimated to take 8 years.
The Alsos Veikou - Goudi section (Section A of Metro Line 4) crosses Athens, Galatsi, Kessariani and Zografou municipalities and will have a total length of 12.8 km, with 15 underground stations.
