HONEYWELL Ltd from Athens secured the EUR1.05 million contract, excluding VAT, for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the BACS (Building Automation and Control System) for the 2nd phase of the metro Line 3 extension to Piraeus in Athens, including the Maniatika, Piraeus and Municipal Theater stations. The BACS will monitor and control the tunnel ventilation system, the HVAC system, as well as the building E&M systems at stations, ventilation shafts, recesses and tunnels.
