Project Scope
Escota has issued a prior information notice for works to upgrade tunnel lighting systems to LED technology on sections of the A8 motorway and the A51 motorway in southern France.

The contract will include replacement and upgrading of lighting systems in motorway tunnels located on:

• A8 motorway – Nice bypass section
• A8 motorway – Turbie to Italian border section
• A51 motorway – La Baume tunnel

The works will involve the installation of energy-efficient LED lighting systems, electrical infrastructure upgrades and integration with existing tunnel control systems.
