The following five construction firms Gulermak Agir Sanayi Insaat ve Taahhut AS (Gulermak), Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Afcons Infrastructure Ltd, Joint Venture Tata Projects Ltd/SK E&C and Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co Ltd have submitted tenders to build the 5.6 km underground Package 4 of the 82.15 km Delhi – Meerut (RRTS). This underground package’s tunnels will be built using TBMs, and connect the New Ashok Nagar Down Ramp with the Sahibabad UP Ramp through one station at Anand Vihar where the line will be connected to the Delhi Metro’s Blue and Pink lines for easy transfers.
