The deadline submission for the call for abstract has been postponed to June 8, 2018

Having ascertained an important response for the call, and in consideration of the fast-growing number of applications received in the last few days, the deadline submission has been postponed until the 8 of June 2018. Hence, there is still time to send your proposals on one or more topics of the next World Tunnel Congress which will be held in Naples from the 3rd to 9th of May 2019. 

Should the content of the submitted abstract be approved by special representatives within the scientific committee, the candidate can participate to the next phase by sending an extended paper. All authors of the papers which will be considered suitable, will be entitled to present their works at the congress, after regular registration at the congress. 

In addition to the traditional tunnelling topics related to engineering and geotechnics, this edition will also include themes linked to art, architecture and archaeology, subjects that are complementary to underground works, as demonstrated by the great example of the "Stations of Art" in Naples.
