Since the launch of TBM Sofia at the beginning of 2020, all construction sites for the future stations of the line 11 extension have been focused on the passage of Sofia through the station  

In late 2020 TBM Sofia (106 m length and 1450 tons in weight)  Broke through at the future Montreuil-Hopital station, completing the 980  section between  La Dhuys and the Montreuil-Hôpital section.  After maintenance works TBM Sofia restarted towards Place Carnot station. The future Place Carnot and Serge Gainsbourg stations are therefore now preparing for the passage of Sofia. The Coteaux-Beauclair and Rosny-Bois-Perrier stations are still under construction.    

The 6 km metro line 11 extension from Mairie des Lilas to Rosny-Bois-Perrier will include 6 new stations (Serge Gainsbourg, Place Carnot, Montreuil-Hôpital, La Dhuys, Coteaux-Beauclair, Rosny-Bois-Perrier),  a viaduct, a maintenance site and a new centralized control station.
