They are the 6.8 km North-South bypass motorway with 4.7 km-long twin tunnels under Brisbane River awarded to RiverCity, a jv of Leighton Contractors, Baulderstone Hornibrook and Bilfinger Berger for completion in 2010 under a concession period of 45 years. Both tunnels broke through at Kangaroo Point in late-2008 at approximately halfway through their respective runs, having passed 60 m-deep low point. Visit
