Two TBMs for Phase 2 of Metro de Quito

In 2015, Quito will have two TBMs working in the tunnels for the Line 1 of Metro de Quito, Phase 2. The first machine will be launched from El Labrador site and the second from Solanda area. Phase 1 was awarded in August, 2012 to the Spanish Acciona Infraestructuras, and includes the two stations at La Magdalena and El Labrador. Click ec/19 for tunnelbuilder archive.
