Turin/Lyon - TELT's third TBM

On 27/11/ a third TBM was completed at the Herrenknecht AG plant. The TBM is 10.5 m in diameter, 2000 tonnes in weight and 180 m long. It will excavate an 8.3 km section of TELT's Turin-Lyon base tunnel, starting from the Praz construction site (Lot CO6) and will head southwards towards Italy, and go as far as Modane.
