On 12.10.2017 ANAS approved the EUR958 million project for the second 18 km section of  SS 106 Jonica (km18,863 - km37,661), between  SS534 near Sibari and Roseto Capo Spulico in Cosenza province This is the third and final part of the Mega-lot project with a value of EUR1234 million. This third mega-lot includes 6 interchanges, 3 rock tunnels (4.8 km), 8 cut & cover tunnels (3.5km) and 17 bridges/viaduct (6.2 km).
