Virginia Department of Transportation and Hampton Roads Connector Partners (HRCP) will celebrate the arrival of TBM Mary at The Port of Virginia Portsmouth Marine Terminal on the 14^th December 2021. TBM Mary is 146 m (430 feet) long and 14 m (46 feet) in diameter and will bore the new twin tunnels as part of the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel Expansion Project, which includes the widening of 16 km (10 miles) of the I-64.
