TBM Coline has broken through at the future Oullins Centre station on the metro Line B extension in Saint-Genis-Laval in Lyon. The machine, launched in November 2019, has driven 1,955 m and installed 1,104 rings: only 400 m to dig before reaching the Orsel pit, its final destination! In the meantime, structural work continues on the Ouillins Centre station. 

The gradual automation of Line B will increase its capacity by 50% by 2023 when the new section between Ouillins Centre and Saint-Genis-Laval - Hopitaux Sud will be opened.
