The Swiss Tunnel Congress (STC) will be held from 5 to 6 June 2024 at the KKL in Lucerne. The excursions (Gotthard Road Tunnel, Gubrist Tunnel, Sihl-Lake Zurich Spillway Tunnel) will take place on 7 June 2024. 

The title of this year's Colloquium is 'Materials Management and Sustainability in Tunnel Construction'. The topic is not new, but the technical requirements and those of efficiency and sustainability are becoming increasingly high, especially in the field of underground construction projects. This is due, among other things, to the growing demands of the population and politicians, who demand a sensible and prudent use of resources and require technical solutions and measures that meet the requirements of climate protection! 

The programme of this year's congress is once again packed with high quality presentations on current Swiss projects such as the third tube of the Rosenberg, the double-track Ligerz railway tunnel, the Gubrist tunnel, the Ferney tunnel, the Pyramides d'Euseign tunnel and the new Neuchâtel - La Chaux-de-Fond line. 

Presentations of international tunnelling projects such as the Lyon-Turin base tunnel, the Third Tunnel and the Koralm Tunnel also promise an interesting exchange of technical experiences.
