Pajares twin tunnels completedThe second tube of the 24.6 km-long Pajares twin tunnel on the high-speed railway link between Leon and Asturias in northern Spain was completed on 11.07.2009. The tunnel connects La Pola de Gordon in Leon with Telledo in Asturias. Intermediate access was gained from two entries at Buiza de Gordon in Leon.
