Innotrans 2010 opens in BerlinToday sees the opening of the largest rail transport technology show to be held in Berlin. Innotrans 2010 features 2,242 exhibitors from 45 countries, and takes up the entire area of the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. Some 100,000 trade visitors from over 100 countries are expected to attend the four-day event, at which the main emphasis will be on railway technology, infrastructure, tunnel construction, interiors and public transport. Since the advent of high-speed railways, tunnels have become key to development, making Innotrans an indispensable meeting place for the two technologies.
