TBM Allison has reached Villejuif IGR station on Line 14 South after six months excavation. The station will connect Line 14 South and Line 15 South of the Grand Paris Express (Lot GC02) by 2024. Allison, the third TBM of Line 14 South, had been christened on June 28, 2019. To date, the TBM has excavated 1.3 km and its extraction is expected about 3.3 km further north when it will arrive in the future Maison-Blanche Paris XII station by 2021. TBM Alison is currently being moved from one shaft to another on a bridge suspended above line 15 South.
In February 2020 TBM Amandine (line 15 South) will arrive at Villejuif IGR. It’s driving the section from the future Arcueil-Cachan station to Villejuif Louis-Arago, whose construction has been awarded to JV CAP Vinci / Spie Batignolles / Dodin.
