On Friday 20 December 2024 - in the presence of the authorities - Lise Enjalbert, the fifth and final TBM of the Toulouse metro Line C, was lowered into the shaft of the future Ponts-Jumeaux station. The machine will dig the 4.2 km section up to the Laporte shaft.
The TBM Berthe de Puybusque was launched at the beginning of November 2024 from the La Vache - Le Grand Marche station towards the Fondeyre and then Ponts-Jumeaux stations; it will then excavate the section between the La Vache - Le Grand Marche and Raisin stations. In total, the TBM will dig the 4.7 km section between Ponts-Jumeaux and Raisin.
On 15 October 2024, the TBM Marguerite of Catellan - which left on 6 August from the Montaudran Gare - Piste des Gean station and after having travelled over 700 m -broke through to the Ormeau station at a depth of almost 30 m. In spring 2025, the TBM Marguerite will reach the Limayrac - Cite de l’espace station.
