Aker Wirth roadheader success in BrisbaneFour Aker Wirth T3.20 heavy-duty roadheaders are at work on different sections of the Airport Link tunnel project in Brisbane, Australia. The machines weigh 130 t apiece and are equipped with 300 kW cutterheads. Last week, one of the machines broke through on the 490 m-long Northern Busway tunnel at Lutwych.
