4th Asian Rock Mechanics Symposium in SingaporeThe 4th Asian Rock Mechanics Symposium is organised by the Singapore National Group of the International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM) and the Tunnelling and Underground Construction Society of Singapore and will be held in Singapore from 8th to 10th November, 2006.The biennial Asian Rock Mechanics Symposium (ARMS 2006) is a first class event in the international rock mechanics and rock engineering calendar. It provides the ideal platform for practitioners and researchers to come together to share information, ideas and experiences. Through the vibrant exchange of opinions, participants will benefit from the knowledge gained, which will be highly applicable to their workplace. Most importantly, ARMS 2006 is a great opportunity to meet up with counterparts and forge new friendships with participants from all over the world. ARMS 2006 has received more than 300 papers from 25 countries.
