TAC is proud to launch the call for submissions for its 2026 Achievement Awards, celebrating excellence in Canada’s tunnelling and underground construction industry, and beyond.
Whether it’s an outstanding project, an innovative initiative, a rising professional, or a powerful image, this is your chance to recognize excellence.
Award recipients will be recognized on a global stage at the ITA World Tunnel Congress 2026 in Montreal.
To align with WTC2026, the submission period has been shortened. All nominations must be submitted by February 28, 2026.
Award categories include:
- Canadian Lifetime Achievement
- Canadian Project of the Year (Under & Over $300M)
- Evert Hoek Young Tunneller of the Year
- Canadian Tunneller of the Year
- Canadian Innovation Initiative of the Year
- Photo of the Year (open to all – no TAC membership required)

Submissions are completed online via the TAC Achievement Awards page. Forms must be completed in one sitting, so be sure to have all supporting documents ready.
