Veidekke ASA from Oslo signed the EUR195.49 million (NOK 1.96 billion) contract, excluding VAT, for the design and construction of the 5.9km Skoger rock tunnel and connection to the existing railway line in an open stretch at Skoger (Contract UDK 01), part of the new double-track section from Drammen to Kobbervikdalen for the ongoing modernization of the Vestfold Line. The construction method of the tunnel is drill and blast.
