What's new at Geofluid 2023?

Press release - The latest Geofluid show is scheduled for Sept. 13-16, 2023 in Piacenza Italy and will be relaunching an exhibition area dedicated to contaminated site remediation activities and technologies related to environmental protection works. This is a sector of strong interest that is fully part of the ecological transition under way at the European level.

In Hall 3, attendees will be able to visit, the many technical and engineering firms involved in remediation or reconversion interventions. There will be manufacturers and distributors of machines for surveys, analysis and subsurface investigation companies as well as equipment for environmental restoration and testing that will all be exhibiting.

Another innovation that will create an impact for the ten thousand professionals who will visit Geofluid 2023 is the space that Piacenza Expo will reserve for exhibitors' with live demos. A real construction site next to the exhibition center will host innovations and operational protocols thanks to the collaboration of the Emilia-Romagna Order of Geologists. Field trials combined with technical seminars will complete the professional update offer for companies and professionals.

Geofluid is the most important international exhibition event for the drilling & foundations sector and takes place in a period of great change for environmental public works and future investments.

In fact, PNRR funds are structured consistently with the European Green Deal. The planned interventions target

•          investment and research programs for renewable energy sources

•          initiatives to combat hydro-geological instability

•          efficient use of water and improvement of inland water quality

The Plan devotes substantial resources to land safety, understood as the mitigation of hydro-geological hazards (with prevention and restoration interventions), the elimination of water and land pollution, and the availability of water resources such as primary infrastructure and purification.

The event has the certified status of "international exhibition" for the period. Geofluid 2023 will have a bigger number of attendees than the last edition which had 280 direct exhibitors and ten thousand professional visitors from more than 50 foreign countries.
