Following award of EUR190 million contract in July, 2011 to OHL/Tully JV for construction of new water siphon between Brooklyn and Staten Island in New York, contractor selected Caterpillar EPB to drive 3.85 m-diameter, 2,883 m-long segmentally-lined tunnel which will house 1.8 m-diameter water column.
