Restricted call for tenders, deadline 29th May, 2006 for participation of interested tenderers in the eligibility phase for consulting services involving specification and preparation of base documents (preparation of tender documentation, constitution of Terms of Reference, etc.) for the preparation of studies, analyses, expertise, design documentation and general coordination of the preparatory activities required for the construction of the first LRT line in Belgrade. The foreseen duration of the consulting services is 36 months from the signature of the contract with the successful bidder. More details here. A first call for bids has been declared void.  The new LRT route length would be about 25 km. The first line has a length of 13 km, about 23% of which in tunnel, about 8% on bridge and about 69% at grade. The total tunnel section length is around 3.5 km, with six or seven underground stations. The first line has an estimated cost of EUR387 million.
