Inelfe, a company owned 50:50 by Red Electrica and Red de Transporte de Electricidad de Francia (Rte), awarded the consortium Eiffage/ACS/Setec/Arcadis/Sener the EUR105 million contract to build an 8.5 km-long, 3.5 m-diameter cable tunnel between Spain and France.
