On 06/06/2022 China Railway 22nd Bureau’ completed the first tunnel of Chengdu Metro Line 18 project, Phase 3. The TBM Excellence broke through and completed 3 months ahead of schedule. The left tunnel between Linjiang/ Guanyan Station and Jilinfeng Shaft on the Chengdu Metro Line 18 extension had a maximum depth of about 49.87 m. The TBM installed 1307 rings. The geology along the alignment was mainly composed of moderately weathered mudstone and sandstone, and locally strongly weathered mudstone. 

The Chengdu Metro Line 18, Phase 3, including North Extension, Linjiang Section, and South Extension is  16.72 km long and all underground with 6 stations (4 transfer stations), 1 reserved station, and 1 new depot to be built. Visit https://www.crcc.cn/. 24/22.
