On 15.07.2015 Robbins EPB Elena completed excavation of the 1,710 m-long left-hand tunnel for the Moscow Metro Second Circle line (Third Interchange Circuit) and arrived in the future 65 m-deep Nizhnaya Maslovka station. The machine launched in December, 2014 at 25 m-deep from Petrovskiy Park station.
Nizhnaya Maslovka station interchanges with Savelovskaya station on Line 9, and Petrovsky Park station interchanges with Dinamo station on Line 2. The contractor SK MOST will begin to excavate the second, right-hand tunnel in September.
The 12 km-long first section of the line stretches from Delovoi Tsentr to Nizhnyaya Maslovka station. It includes the following six stations: Nizhnyaya Maslovka, Petrovsky Park, Khodynskoye Polye, Khoroshovskaya, Shelepikha and Delovoi Tsentr.
