March 1998.Manila Department of Transportation and Communications has signed memorandum of understanding with Italian contractors Fincosit and SELI for a 10 km tunnel from Fort Bonifacio to Greenhills to be operational by 2004. Engineering studies are complete, and $700 million finance is being arranged. Legislation for land use for the tunnel is under discussion with the Metro Manila Development Authority. December 2000.
