Government of Nepal has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Nepal Purbadhar Bikas Company NPBC for construction of the Kathmandu-Kulekhani-Hetauda road, financed as a PPP venture. The 48 km-long four-lane highway, which includes a 3 km-long tunnel between Bhimphedi and Kulekhani, will be designed and constructed over a period of four years at a cost of EUR285 million.
