The Joint Venture Eteria Consorzio Stabile Scarl (members Vianini lavori SpA, Itinera SpA and I.CO.P. SpA), C.M.B. Società Cooperativa and Ghella SpA secured the EUR 362.42 million contract, for the construction of the 3.3km extension of the M1 line through the Baggio, Olmi and Valsesia districts in Milan. The section includes 3 stations (Parri-Valsesia, Baggio e Olmi) and 6 structures. The tunnel will be almost entirely built with TBM.
Also awarded the two options: n.1 construction of Baggio depot, value EUR 43.62 million; n.2 works to complete the extension of the M1 metro line on the north side from Sesto FS station to Monza, value EUR 53.82 million.
