Project Scope
Spie ICS has been awarded a contract for the maintenance and operational management of the information system and network infrastructure of the Mont Blanc Tunnel, including studies and implementation of system developments.
The works cover maintenance of the tunnel’s digital and communication infrastructure, including monitoring, operation and upgrades of the integrated network systems supporting tunnel safety and operations. The contract also includes studies and implementation of improvements to the network infrastructure.
The TMBGEIE information system operates as a single integrated system across French and Italian territory, with redundant infrastructure installed on both sides of the border. Server rooms are duplicated in France and Italy, while technical rooms within the tunnel are located approximately two-thirds on the French side and one-third on the Italian side.
