Tunnelling & Trenchless Technology in the 21st CenturyThe Institution of Engineers, Malaysia is organizing the International Conference and Exhibition on "Tunnelling and Trenchless Technology in the 21st Century" on 7th-9th March, 2006. This conference will gather practitioners, academics and experts in the field of tunnelling and trenchless technology to discuss some of the most recent advances in tunnelling and trenchless technology. The conference is expected to attract more than 300 participants from locally and overseas. In conjunction with the conference, an exhibition will be held, featuring products, processes and services in the industry related to tunnelling and trenchless construction. There will be a special focus on the Stormwater Management and Road Tunnel (SMART) with several papers being presented and also a technical visit.This conference is aimed at providing a forum for practicing professionals (engineers, consultants, contractors, researchers, academicians, manufacturers and suppliers) to share their experiences, research, studies and views so as to contribute to the advancement of tunnelling and trenchless construction generally and particularly in Asia.
