Background - The Lindholm Connection project, which is part of the Tram and city bus Brunnsbo - Linné via Lindholmen program, is part of the strategic plan to build an inner ring road for tram traffic in Gothenburg, which will make many journeys faster and smoother. The project aims to improve the redundancy and capacity of the overall transport system in central Gothenburg, where new solutions and innovative methods are crucial to meet the challenges of the future.
The Lindholm connection is a 3.2km tram tunnel planned between Lindholmen and Linnéplatsen via Stigberget, where there will be an underground stop.
Procurement strategy conference
The City of Gothenburg's development administration now invites you to an information meeting with the aim of informing the market about the upcoming procurements for the Lindholm Connection/Lindholmsförbindelsen project, with construction planned to start in 2031. Through a previously conducted RFI phase and experience gained from similar projects, important insights have been gathered from potential bidders, enabling a well-founded and calibrated strategy.
The goal of the conference is to prepare possible suppliers; contractors, design consultants as well as potential bidders, who may be interested in designing and building the Lindholm connection. The meeting will provide information on how contract division and contract form are planned, as well as procurements of contracts and consultancy contracts.

Registration & Requirements for Participation
The meeting is only aimed at possible main suppliers for the Lindholm connection and will be conducted in Swedish. There are requirements that the participating supplier must have been involved in other relevant projects in the last 5 years and that you must be able to state your role and intended delivery in the project in order to participate. There are 100 places and participation is limited to a maximum of 5 people per registered company. When registering, and for participation, these tasks will be prioritized and checked.
