Excavation work by Swietelsky construction company has started on the access tunnel in Wolf, near Steinach, Austria with the first blast on December 4th, St. Barbara's Day. The construction lot includes 6.8 km of new tunnels for re-routing of the Padaster brook and ongoing work on the disposal site in the Padaster valley.
