RETC for San FranciscoThe biennial Rapid Excavation & Tunneling Conference takes place June 19-22nd, 2011 at the Marriott Marquis in San Francisco, CA. Field trips to New Irvington tunnel and Sunnydale auxiliary sewer projects have been arranged for delegates. Limited places are available for pre-booking on a first-come, first-served basis. Likewise for the Sunday short course on grouting techniques and large diameter tunnelling. A programme of full-day technical sessions is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, ending with a half-day on Wednesday. The Monday reception in the exhibition hall is hosted by The Robbins Company, while the Tuesday pre-dinner reception is hosted by Herrenknecht Tunneling Systems USA Inc with MWH Global.
