By the end of 2021, 17.5 km of metro lines and nine stations in Moscow will have completed their construction. In this time frame the reconstruction of the Kakhovskaya station will also be finished.
From 2022 to the end of 2024 another 58.5 km of metro lines (eight) and 25 stations (both existing and prospective ones) and three electric depots will be built. A priority task for this period remains the completion of the construction of the Big Circle Metro Line (BCL).
At the same time there will be continued construction of the new Troitskaya line between ZIL and Kommunarka stations; the extension of the existing Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line from Rasskazovka to Vnukovo airport; Sokolnicheskaya line from Kommunarka to Novomoskovskaya (Potapovo) station; and the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line from Seligerskaya to the Severny village at Fiztekh station.
In addition, they have planned to start the construction of new Rublevo/Rublyovo - Arkhangelskaya and Biryulyovskaya metro lines, as well as a 2.6 km extension of the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line to the Golyanovo district.
This development of the transport infrastructure is the largest part (75%) of the Targeted Investment Program (TIP) for 2022–2024.
