Koralm tunnel gets underwayOn 28.03.2011 government officials and provincial governors of Styria and Carinthia attended the groundbreaking ceremony for construction of lot KAT 1, a 20 km-long section of the Koralm tunnel. The twin-tube, single-track Koralm tunnel (KAT1 + KAT 2), with a 1.2 km overburden, will be 32.9 km long and will form the core of the 130 km-long Graz-Klagenfurt high speed line between Carinthia and Styria.
