Geofluid, the biannual international show specialised in subsoil fluid prospecting extraction and transport, geological and geophysical drilling, deep foundations, no-dig technology and construction of tunnels, will take place from 6th to 9th October, 2010 at the Piacenza Expo exhibition centre in Italy. This eighteenth edition of the show will include the following sectors: Geofluid (Technologies and equipment for Prospecting, Extracting and Conveying Underground Fluids), Geotunnel (tunnelling machines, equipment and instrumentations), Geotech (rigs and equipment for geotechnical and site investigations, deep foundations and horizontal directional drilling - no-dig), and Geocontrol (instrumentation and equipment for environmental analysis, monitoring and land reclamation).The second Geothermal Focus dedicated to technology and equipment for drilling and installing geothermal wells is also part of Geofluid. This special section will delve into the latest innovations of geothermal wells and heat pumps, both for residential and industrial use.The 2008 edition of the show registered 392 exhibitors and 11,847 visitors with 2,351 of them from abroad.
