The first EPB TBM working on the twin-tube 3,150 m-long tunnel in the Rambla-Can Roca section of Terrassa tunnel, part of the project to extend Catalonian railway lines that the JV FCC, OHL & COPISA is undertaking for Gestió d'Infraestructures, S.A. (GISA), has broken through after its 3.7 km drive. The 6.9 m- diameter mixed face EPB crossed three station boxes and completed tunnelling in 383 days. The best daily advance was 49.5 m with 33 rings, and best monthly production 830 m with 553 rings.
