Breakthrough at Sellero tunnel on SS 42 in BresciaSellero tunnel broke through on 18.06.2010 as part of the refurbishment work on the SS 42 Tonale-Mendola for the completion of the Niardo-Braone-Ceto-Nadro-Capo di Ponte-Sellero and Cedegolo bypass. The tunnel, 2.5 km of which was previously excavated, is now total length 5,047 m. The JV comprising Collini/Cossi/Giudici/Aster has now completed 50% of the project. Work still underway: 1,866 m Capo di Ponte tunnel excavation; viaducts Capo di Ponte and Berzo Demo; and Capo di Ponte South and Berzo Demo interchanges. Total amount more than EUR122 million.
