STUVA Conference 2007 in CologneThe economic boom in Germany and Europe also is having a positive impact on tunnel construction. According to statistics gathered in the last few years, the construction of some 450 kilometres of tunnels is anticipated in the medium term in Germany alone. The figure cited for Europe as a whole is roughly 2,300 kilometres.STUVA Conference 2007, with the motto “Connections by tunnels”, will be held at the Congress Centrum of Cologne from 27th to 29th November, 2007. This growing congress will be an invaluable opportunity to exchange ideas and experience and to learn a lot listening to the many papers that will be presented.
