Herrenknecht TBM progress at metro Line B in LyonOn 27.09.2010 Herrenknecht TBM Agata, diameter 5 m, weight 1,000 t, length 70 m, started excavation of metro B extension in Lyon. The Gerland Stadium to Ouillins Station section is 1.8 km-long, of which 300 m is under the River Rhone. Five teams are working 24/7 hours, and by 03.01.2011 had bored 418 m and installed 228 rings.
