Breakthrough at Strafelter

Breakthrough at StrafelterThe first tube of Strafelter tunnel on the Route du Nord A7 motorway between Luxembourg City and Mersch was completed on 22.04.2010. The tunnel is 1,850 m-long with 200 m in cut/cover. It comprises two separate tubes connected by six cross-passages. The opening is scheduled for 2014. For more click here and lu/13.
