Brazil high speed railway studiesBrazil's first 350 km/h high speed railway will run between Campinas, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, with airport statons at Viracopos, Guarulhos and Galeao. Total distance Campinas to Rio is 511 km with 8-11 stations, with distance Sao Paulo to Rio approximately 412 km. Some 90.9 km of tunnels will be required, split evenly between rural and urban areas, at an estimated cost of EUR4.47 billion.
