Atlas Copco at Bauma 2004 The Atlas Copco Bauma display, located in the outdoor area, Block 1110, will feature computer-controlled drilling rigs for both surface and underground work; unique computer-based training programs; a new satellite based communications system for daily reporting of drillrig performance; specialized rigs for ground engineering; and new products for soil and rock reinforcement. Prominent on the stand will be a Rocket Boomer L2 C computer controlled face drilling rig, together with a training simulator for operators. This is complemented by Secoroc's own computer-based training (CBT) program for rock drilling tools, which provides operators with approximately 50 hours of study and tests.Secoroc will also present its new design soft rock full-ballistic button bits, the Magnum SR range of drifting equipment, the new rig-mounted bit grinding machine Grind Matic Jazz, and cutters and pilot bits for raiseboring.Also on show will be the new hybrid rock reinforcement bolt, which combines the technology of Swellex and MAI.
