The JV Metrostav a.s. Czech Republic and Sudurverk hf. Iceland of Prague secured the contract for construction in rock of 7.5 km-long, 8.0 m-wide two-lane Nordfjordur tunnel in East Iceland, together with 366 m of concrete portal structures and 5 km of access roads.
